When I started affiliate marketing, I was full of mistakes in the beginning, mistakes that I still make sometimes. It is very important to know and avoid them from beginning to have a better and easier experience in affiliate marketing. In this article, I will name them, explain them and then teach you to how to avoid them.
1. Not being focused on a subjectWhen I started affiliate marketing, the thirst my money couldn’t let me to stay on something. as I said in last article” how to avoid internet marketing scams” , I was surrounded by flashy products and dreaming of success led me to not being focus on one thing because I wanted to make money fast. As I mentioned in the same post making money fast is very unlikely because affiliate marketing is all about experience and hard work. Peruse of getting rich fast, will not let you to stay focused and you will jump around different methods. Remember this; affiliate marketing is all about being focused on ONE subject. Stay focused on something, work hard and work on it for a long time and don’t jump around different methods. Find the right product, get involved and don’t stop until you make money from it.
I’ve mentioned this in many posts in my blog. Probably the worst thing in affiliate marketing not being patient and trying to make money fast while it is not right, and this is why many people are not successful in affiliate marketing. You need to be patient, work hard and do the right thing. It takes time but you will make money. Just give it some time. There has been many times that I noticed that I made money from something that I was not recommending, then I did investigate more and found out that I’m making money from an article and abandoned site that I was working on about one year ago and now it is making me money. Just imagine that I would work on it very good, how much money could make me now? So as I said, do it right, work hard and give it time. You don’t have to wait for it. Leave it and start another project. Do projects as much as you can, so when it comes to start generating profit, it will be huge!
Stop it now! It is good to dream of success, but doing it too much will make you sick. in case if you don’t make any money in the time you were expecting, it will kill your motivation to work hard because you will see this work pointless. While you might just are close to success, you will stop the work!
4. Being afraid of super affiliates, (there is no room for me!)When I started affiliate marketing, this matter was eating my brain! I was keep saying this to myself that “ there is many people already are trying to make money online and they are better than me, how I should beat them? They are good as hell and I don’t know a shit! “ well this is right, but not right! It takes you 1 year to be a super affiliate. It is not hard at all, I mean just be logic. If you call someone super affiliate, they weren’t born with affiliate marketing, and they tried and got in there, what exactly you are doing now! So don’t think of these subjects and stay focused on your work. You might say they are already making money online by selling products to people, how I’m going to compete with them? Well it is very easy to beat them out! They are not gods and remember this, SEO gives everyone equal chance to do their best, take your shot and make it. All you need to have is the right tool!
